Jeremy Malzon has long had a passion for helping people. He has found joy in assisting others to be at their best in various places through different jobs. After completing his bachelor’s degree in psychology at Trinity International University he worked for three years with adults with developmental disabilities. After this, he was called to become a youth pastor where he ministered to children ranging from preschool to college-aged, with his main focus being on those in junior and senior high school. After almost 5 years in youth ministry, Jeremy returned to Trinity International University for his master’s degree in mental health counseling.
It is Jeremy’s solid foundation of faith that cements his belief that all people have tremendous value and worth no matter their past experiences or current life situations. Jeremy desires to come alongside you to help you explore your current circumstances and support you in forming your goals. He will then seek to help you use your strengths and resources to help you achieve your goals while assisting you in overcoming obstacles you may face along the way. Jeremy uses a variety of treatment models to accomplish this, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Existential Therapy.
Jeremy enjoys working with people of various ages from diverse backgrounds. He has assisted clients dealing with anxiety, depression, anger, premarital and marital counseling, relationship issues, career and other life adjustments.
While Jeremy is transitioning to counseling full time, he is also working in construction and substitute teaching. In his spare time Jeremy enjoys being outdoors, especially near the lake, and spending time with family and friends.
